Tyshawn, a Cincinnati native has always had a passion for music. At the age of 13 he appeared on the television show "Live At The Apollo" and won 3 times! And as an Adult 3 more times making it 6 wins. While at the School of Creating and Performing Arts, Tyshawn was presented with numerous awards including the prestigious Corbett Award.
Just at 17 he was recruited by Berklee Collkege of Music and awarded a "presidential" scholarship that he courageously turned down to to participate in the 2014 "New Wave" competition.
In the summer of 2014 Tyshawn represented the U.S. in the finals of the international "New Wave" competition to discover the world's next best pop star. The competition took place on the Latvian "Riviera" on the resort Jurmala.
Tyshawn is a very talented songwriter, pianist, and budding producer. He is currently in the studio recording his first solo album.
